the miracle

the miracle
an answer to our prayers
a selfless act
no one can compare
ridicule barbarism unto Him
light shine as through a prism
for everyone
to garner the worldly worn
the Lord earthly born
in a cave His body lain
slain, the people mourn
2000 years of tears
youthful as His years
the Sant has risen rejoice!
oh eternal flame
He left the body, we pray
He loved us like no other
carpenter poet soothsayer brother

The Lord Thy God.

wishing you many blessings,
Happy Easter.
4/16/17.

sand water sky

moon ebb flow
tide caress
sway shy shore
remorseful gray day

coyote prey morsel
snake venomous torment
blacks blues red fish
swim green sea

dawn break into song wind unwind warm
winter blast long last
sky overwhelm sea with tears
black spider fear red lizard
cat lick blizzard
exclaim mix rain
capture coast in paint
buoyant boats bob like ghosts clairvoyant
burnt sand burnish clam
knotty pine rhyme
branch bent to bear sea brine

bird bay sea foam sand
red flag red nun black can

stars sky starling fly
cloud encore thunder clap
snow fall winter brawl sun withdraw
schooner sooner sail flap
undertow slap lap.

lone bird

golden sun silver moon
beckon peace and love
mosaic bisque red clay
array blue pink gray
red roses in sun at noon-cherubs weep sweet showers hourly, crimson hue velvet smooth send scented airs flowery-so winter heave cleave to tree to everything bodily,
the sky white entirely
lone bird fly at night quietly.

in june new bloom strewn

in june new bloom strewn
under the sunshine in fertile tundra
blossom in the round
winter fall into the lap of summer
slap by lightning hit the ground
surround sound strike thunder
impose the roses windy blows
rain fall down
out of sort the day
paint sea and sky in gray
an altogether haze
that dim the sight of Gardiner’s Bay
rejoice the woodland creature
warmer wood would soon beseech her
an open field to land
sandy beaches fill with clam
beavers build a dam
birds take flight
day and night
to dance by dawns early light.
